Wounded Healers takes a bold look at one of medical sciences most emotional areas – the treatment of cancer. For a year, I was artist in residence at the Sussex Cancer Centre at Royal Sussex Hospital in Brighton, with a unique challenge, to artistically document the role of oncologists in cancer treatment, by providing a creative vision of these ‘healers’ in a highly scientific context

A former cancer patient myself, I had to relive many of my own ordeals, but from a radically different perspective.
